Building Code Inspector - Building Code Appeals Board - Planning Commission - Zoning Officer - Zoning Appeals Board
Township residents who wish to build generally need to obtain both a Zoning Permit and a Building Permit. Certain projects may be exempt. Larger projects and subdivisions or projects not meeting zoning requirements may need to be reviewed by the Planning Commission and be approved by the Board of Supervisors or go before the Zoning Hearing Board.

Most of the Township's Zoning Ordinances and Subdivision and Land Development Ordinances are not available online. Copies may be purchased at the township office.

The Zoning Officer is responsible for issuing Zoning Permits and conducting Zoning Inspections. He is also responsible for investigating complaints of code violations.

The Zoning Hearing Board hears appeals from decisions of the Zoning Officer and decides requests for variances and exceptions to the Zoning Ordinance.
